Representative Seo Mi-hwa of the Democratic Party of Korea said that seven calls were made to the Ministry of Health and Welfare immediately after the declaration of the emergency martial law.
The Ministry of Health and Welfare explained that it is true that seven phone calls were received from the presumed martial law number between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. on the 4th, but there was no actual call.
An official from the lawmaker's office argued that an investigation is needed into the reason for calling the Ministry of Health and Welfare from what is believed to be martial law history.
