The National Election Commission said on the 3rd that media reports that it is considering replacing the NEC server in connection with the emergency martial law crisis are not true.

The NEC issued a press release and explained that some of the server rooms were open to the outside due to the unauthorized occupation of the martial law army, and that it was preparing security measures such as reviewing server relocation, but that it had not considered replacing the server.

Earlier, some media outlets reported that the NEC is considering replacing the server and will cost 2 billion won in taxes because the leakage of the manufacturer and model name of the server filmed by martial law forces could weaken security.
