A rally continues today in front of the National Assembly ahead of the second impeachment vote against President Yoon Suk Yeol.

Ahead of the main rally at 3 p.m., pre-rally is underway, but as time goes by, crowds are flocking.

Reporter Jung Hyun-woo, the main assembly has not started yet, right?

Yes, it's in the middle of the roadway on the National Assembly building, and as you can see, there are many citizens sitting on mats and cushions around.

He is holding a hand sign one by one calling for the impeachment of Yoon Suk Yeol's president or calling on the ruling party to join the impeachment.

There are also people holding candles, and the rally to urge the impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol begins at 3 p.m., and crowds have been flocking like this since the pre-rally.

On stage, singers perform and some citizens come up to speak, raising the atmosphere of the rally. There are many citizens around the

subway station who provide free hot packs, drinks, and candles to participants.

Let's hear from the attendees.

[Kim Sang-geun / Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do: The whole family is going to get together, but the daughter-in-law is coming from Gangnam and the daughter-in-law is coming from Gunpo, won't it end today?]

About an hour after the main assembly begins, the surrounding area is expected to be even more crowded.

In particular, when the impeachment motion begins at 4 p.m., we will watch the situation of the National Assembly plenary session through electronic boards installed throughout the assembly site.

Traffic control around Yeouido seems to be also significant.

[Reporter]
Yes, the Capitol Boulevard and Yeouido Park Road where I am currently are completely controlled.

The National Assembly Road, which connects to the Seogang Bridge, is operated as a variable lane, and four lanes are also under control of Yeouido, where the organizers set up the stage.

As organizers expect more crowds than they did last Saturday's rally, control of surrounding roads is expected to be strengthened after the start of the main assembly.

The police asked you to use public transportation such as subways if possible, and to check traffic information in advance if you are forced to use a vehicle.

However, eight bus stops around the National Assembly Station have been suspended.

Also, please note that there is a high possibility that trains will not stop like last time at Yeouido Station or the National Assembly Station, where the number of passengers is expected to increase.
