Lee Jin-woo, commander of the Capital Defense Command, who was arrested for putting soldiers into the National Assembly during the emergency martial law, is under prosecution investigation.

The special investigation headquarters of the prosecution's emergency martial law has been investigating since this morning (14th).

Earlier, the prosecution arrested the commander of the water defense command last evening after obtaining a warrant for destroying evidence in the military court.

The prosecution is investigating how and what the soldiers entered major facilities such as the National Assembly after the martial law was declared, as well as whether President Yoon Suk Yeol ordered them.

Former commander Lee is considered to have moved under the direction of former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun, along with Yeo In-hyeong, commander of the Defense Security Command, and Kwak Jong-geun, commander of the Army Special Warfare Command.

The prosecution is expected to seek an arrest warrant for commander Lee on the afternoon of the 15th, when the 48-hour deadline for his arrest ends.

On the 12th, the prosecution raided the home and office of the commander of the water defense unit and the water defense command.
