Regarding the approval of the impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol, the Democratic Party of Korea said it would make every effort to quickly form a special prosecutor for civil war, saying it is a victory for the Korean people.

Park Chan-dae, floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, met with reporters after the impeachment bill was passed and said, "We were able to make another history of victory because there were people who shouted for the protection of democracy."

However, he stressed that the December 3 civil war has not yet ended, and that the full extent of the situation should not be revealed through a thorough investigation and that punishment should not be lowered.

At the same time, he urged the Constitutional Court to proceed quickly and judge only according to the Constitution, as the December 3 emergency martial law destroyed the constitutional order.
