Yes, participants of the rally calling for the impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol in front of the National Assembly in Yeouido watched the National Assembly vote on a large screen.

When the results of the impeachment motion against President Yoon were finally passed with 204 votes in favor, there was a great cheer at the scene.

All the citizens who were singing and watching the counting process stood up together.

Now, we are all happy by playing songs together and waving cheering sticks, candles, and hand signs.

Some hug each other or run around, and others shed tears of joy.

When asked by reporters how they view the impeachment vote, the participants of the rally said that the public sentiment and the sovereign won in the end.

{The Constitutional Court, another step, said it would continue to speak out until impeachment was cited.

Now opposition lawmakers, including Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, are attending the rally and joining the citizens.

Protests calling for impeachment by citizens continued around the National Assembly in Yeouido and near the presidential office in Yongsan after martial law broke out on Dec. 3.

As the impeachment motion now leaves the National Assembly and continues its hearing at the Constitutional Court, citizens are expected to gather elsewhere to continue their voices calling for the impeachment citation until the final result is reached.
