President Yoon Suk Yeol said he would never give up after passing the National Assembly's impeachment bill and said he would do his best for the country until the last minute.President

Yoon said in a statement to the nation at 6:15 p.m. this evening that he will stop for a while now, but his journey to the future should never stop.

He then said he would do his best for the country until the last minute, stressing that everyone should join forces for liberal democracy and prosperity in the Republic of Korea.

He also asked the political community to make efforts to improve political culture and systems so that they can change from the politics of runaway and confrontation to the politics of deliberation and consideration.President

Yoon said, "The passing of the impeachment reminded me of June 29, 2021, when I first declared my participation in politics," adding, "I entered politics with hot public aspirations and have been working with all my might."

He said he stopped his difficult but rewarding journey for a while, adding that he is frustrated that his efforts so far will go in vain.
