With the second impeachment motion of Yoon Suk Yeol's president passed by the National Assembly, Reps. Jang Dong-hyuk, Jin Jong-oh, Kim Min-jeon, and In Yo-han, the ruling party's top members, expressed their intention to step down from the top committee.

It was confirmed that they expressed their intention at a general meeting of lawmakers held behind closed doors shortly after the impeachment of President Yoon was passed by the National Assembly.

According to the People's Power Party Constitution and party regulations, if four of the five elected supreme council members resign, the system will be converted to an emergency committee system.

As a result, Han Dong-hoon's leadership system is expected to be virtually collapsed, and Han is expected to step down as CEO.

Park Jung-ha, the party's chief of staff, is also said to have expressed his resignation.
