Hong Joon Pyo "Impeached two mercenaries...The leadership should resign altogether.

Daegu Mayor Hong Joon Pyo called for the resignation of the party's leadership, saying, "The two mercenaries have been impeached," in response to the impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol and Han Dong-hoon, the leader of the People's Power Party.

In a post on social media, Mayor Hong urged, "The party leadership, which has failed to properly deal with the emergency martial law situation caused by the opposition party's tyrannical parliamentary operation, should resign if it has a conscience."

He also argued that it was two mercenaries who were impeached, not conservative forces, and that "90 people can break through the impeachment process."
