Shortly after the second impeachment motion of Yoon Suk Yeol's president was passed by the National Assembly, all five elected members of the ruling party expressed their intention to step down from the top committee.

It was confirmed that the four supreme council members, Jang Dong-hyuk, In Yo-han, Kim Min-jeon, and Jin Jong-oh, expressed their intention at a meeting of lawmakers held behind closed doors shortly after President Yoon's impeachment was passed.

Supreme Council member Kim Jae-won also announced on his SNS that he was resigning as a member of the People's Power leadership immediately, saying that no one can be free from this responsibility.

According to the People's Power Party Constitution and party regulations, if more than four out of five elected supreme council members resign, the system will be converted to an emergency committee system.

As a result, Han Dong-hoon's leadership system is expected to be virtually collapsed, and Han is expected to step down as CEO.

Park Jung-ha, the party's chief of staff, is also said to have expressed his resignation.
