A fire broke out at around 3:30 p.m. today (14th) in a hill in Bangdong-ri, Girin-myeon, Inje-gun, Gangwon-do, and was extinguished in about an hour and 30 minutes.
No one was hurt, but 2.08ha of the private forest was burned.
Forest authorities are investigating the exact cause of the forest fire against witnesses and others.
