Acting President Han Deok-soo said, "The most important thing now is to return the precious daily life to the people," adding, "That is the duty the Constitution has given him and the last duty to the people."

Acting President Han Deok-soo presided over an extraordinary Cabinet meeting at the Seoul Government Complex this evening (14th) and said, "I feel responsible for the unfortunate situation," adding, "The president's impeachment bill has been approved at the National Assembly."

At the same time, he said that the more difficult the country is, the more public officials should take the center stage and overcome the crisis, and asked them to do what they need to do without any agitation and to work together on stabilizing the state of affairs.

Acting President Han Deok-soo said, "The world is watching the Republic of Korea closely," and vowed that the government will do its best to overcome the crisis, only thinking about the people and national interests.
