As the National Assembly passed the impeachment bill against President Yoon Suk Yeol, the time for impeachment will now pass in the Constitutional Court.
Reporter Lee Kyung-guk summarized what process remains from now on after crossing the threshold of the National Assembly.

Yoon Suk Yeol's impeachment motion passed by the National Assembly.
As the impeachment motion was submitted to the Constitutional Court, the clock of the impeachment trial began to turn.
[Jeong Chung-rae / Chairman of the National Assembly Legislation and Judiciary Committee: The Yoon Suk Yeol presidential impeachment motion will now go through a hearing in the Constitutional Court]
Impeachment does not address separate legal requirements.
Therefore, the hearing begins immediately from the Ministry of Justice, and the chairman of the Judiciary Committee takes on the role of the prosecutor, or in fact the plaintiff, as if arguing in a general court.
President Yoon, the party and the defendant, must attend on the first hearing date with his duties suspended, but there is no way to force him.
Even if it doesn't come out, the psychology continues.
Even if the Constitutional Court is currently a six-member system with three vacancies, it can be decided.
However, it is possible to decide on impeachment with the approval of more than six judges, so there should be unanimous agreement.
[Jang Young-soo / Professor of law at Korea University] In the case of President Yoon, it will take at least three months to judge in the impeachment prosecution. Then the appointment of a successor (constitutional) judge comes first.]
In order for an impeachment trial to take place in a normal system, the ruling party and the opposition party must agree to elect three constitutional judges, who are responsible for the National Assembly, to fill the vacancy.
Prime Minister Han Deok-soo, acting president, will appoint them
