A fire broke out at a flower shop near the county hospital in Sabuk-eup, Jeongseon-gun, Gangwon-do, at around 3:30 a.m. yesterday (14th) and was extinguished in about five hours.
The fire spread to a nearby house, burning both buildings, and a man in his 80s was taken to a hospital after suffering abrasions while evacuating.
Fire authorities estimate property damage worth 260 million won was caused and are investigating the exact cause of the fire with police.
