More than 30,000 people, including 140 groups and citizens who participated in the 6th Gwangju General Assembly yesterday (14th), shouted impeachment of the president, danced to popular songs, waved Korean flags, and traveled around Geumnam-ro.
Local university students and farmers' associations also marched from the gathering point to Geumnam-ro along the path that the May 18 Democratic Movement martyrs walked.
With a series of sponsorship of food and cold-weather goods, a sharing booth was also set up at the rally to continue Gwangju's spirit of community.
