The National Incheon Maritime Museum, the first national marine cultural facility in the Seoul metropolitan area, opened its doors.

Not only our country's history of maritime exchanges, but also various donated artifacts are on display.

The National Incheon Maritime Museum embodies the winding waves.

The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and the Incheon Metropolitan Government spent 100 billion won to build it with a floor area of 17,000 square meters on four floors above the ground.

It is the first marine cultural facility in the Seoul metropolitan area.

At the Children's Museum on the 1st floor, you can experience navigation and marine culture through play.

In the permanent exhibition room, 485 marine-related artifacts were exhibited, including Neungheodae Silgyeongsan Hydration, which depicts the landscape of Okryeon-dong, Incheon, which was an ancient maritime exchange site.

The traces of the Yeongheungdo Ship, which is considered the oldest marine ship in Korea, have also been cloned.

In the digital realistic imaging room, the difficult journey of the Joseon envoy who went to the Ming Dynasty of China by sea 400 years ago,

You can directly feel the construction process of the Incheon Port Gapmun on a 270-degree super-large screen.

A special exhibition of donated artifacts was also prepared to commemorate the opening.

More than 340 items, including the "Taegeukgi" that the late Captain Bae Soon-tae, Korea's No. 1 pilot, flew around the world on the East Sea in 1953, were displayed.
