According to the Korea Consumer Agency's price information portal True Price, the average price increase rate of eight consumer-preferred dining menus in Seoul from January to November this year was 4%.
Gimbap rose 5.3% from 3,323 won in January to 3,500 won last month, the largest increase.
During the same period, jajangmyeon rose 5% from 7,69 won to 7,423 won, and bibimbap rose 5% from 16,654 won to 11,192 won.
Naengmyeon rose 4.7%, kalguksu rose 3.8%, and pork belly rose 3.4%.
Food service prices have also been on a steep rise throughout the year amid overall high prices.
Pork belly, one of Koreans' most preferred dining menus, opened the 20,000 won era for the first time in Seoul in May this year, and samgyetang also crossed the 17,000 won threshold in July.
