Constitutional Court requests to submit President Yoon's response tomorrow for 'impeachment hearing'

The Constitutional Court, which will hear President Yoon Suk Yeol's impeachment case, will notify President Yoon of the case tomorrow (16th) and request him to submit a response.

In accordance with the law, the request for a trial must be served on the respondent, the president, as soon as it is received, but the service did not proceed over the weekend as the impeachment vote took place last Saturday.

Respondents who have been served with a bill can submit a response to the Constitutional Court, but impeachment is not automatically cited even if they do not submit a response.

Tomorrow, the Constitutional Court will also decide on the chief judge of the case in a random electronic dividend method.
