The Gyeonggi provincial government said it has set up a "living accommodation support center" to help solve the problem of living accommodation facilities that have been complained about due to unauthorized use of residential use and to help them use them legally.

In particular, the center will help owners of living accommodation facilities or buyers easily check whether they can be repurposed through consulting.

Accordingly, we will support you to decide the direction of processing before September next year, when the grace period for imposing compulsory performance fees due to illegal use changes ends.

The center will also come up with unreasonable regulatory improvements and continue to make suggestions to the government.

The living accommodation facility introduced in 2012 is a facility with cooking facilities for long-term guests such as foreigners and local business travelers, but it has been used for residential purposes without permission, causing conflicts with residents and complaints.
