The Korea Musical Association held a press conference this morning and announced candidates for the 9th Korea Musical Awards.
The Korea Musical Awards, which began in 2016, selects 21 winners in a total of four categories as a place to settle the domestic musical industry at the end of every year.
Kim Joon-soo, Michaeli, Yoo Jun-sang, Lim Kyu-hyung, and Cho Jung-seok were nominated for this year's Best Male Actor Award.
At the same time, Kim Soo-ha, Min Kyung-ah, Park Ji-yeon, Cha Ji-yeon, Hong Na-hyun, and Lee Ah-reum will compete for the leading female awards.
The musical "Gloomy Sunday," "Il Tenore," "Hongryeon," "Swing Days Code Name A," "Long Night" and "Fagua" were selected as candidates for the best creative premiere.
The Korea Musical Awards ceremony will be held at the Universal Arts Center in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on the 13th of next month.
