[Gyeongbuk] Gumi Semiconductor Specialized Complex Fruition...Semiconductor Company Factory Completed

North Gyeongsang Province and the city of Gumi said April Semiconductor, a key semiconductor material company, has completed a new plant in the Gumi National Industrial Complex.

Under an investment agreement worth 60 billion won in December last year, the company will build a factory in Gumi and produce wafers for power semiconductors with next-generation technology.

Gumi City expected that it would create up to 70 jobs and strengthen the competitiveness of the local semiconductor industry as its first investment attraction since designating a semiconductor specialized complex.
