Acting President Han Deok-soo is considering vetoing a controversial bill that passed the National Assembly led by the opposition party.

First of all, we decided not to present the related agenda at the Cabinet meeting tomorrow (17th), but we have to come to a conclusion by this week, the deadline for exercising the veto.

There are currently six bills subject to veto.

These are the so-called "Four Agricultural Laws," including the Grain Management Act, which was handled by the opposition party last month, the National Assembly Act, and the National Assembly Testimony Appraisal Act.

The People's Power previously proposed veto to President Yoon Suk Yeol, who is about to be prosecuted for impeachment.

The deadline for vetoing the six bills is the 21st.

Another controversial bill is the Insurrection Special Prosecutor Act and the Kim Gun-hee Special Prosecutor Act, which passed the fourth National Assembly.

It has not yet been transferred to the government, so it is not subject to veto, but the list price predicts that the moment of decision will come around the end of this month or early next year.

The ruling and opposition parties are sharply divided over these bills, but another source of conflict is whether the acting president can veto them.
