The CEO of a high-end American bag maker is in trouble after reporting to police after seeing his bag in a wanted photo of 26-year-old Luigi Manzioni, who is accused of shooting and killing the head of the nation's largest health insurance company.

CNN reported that Peter Dering, CEO of bag manufacturer Peak Design, was inundated with criticism after Manzioni reported to the police that the bare backpack appeared to be its product.

When threatened, CEO Derring issued a statement saying, "The company has never provided customer information to the police, and even if it does, it will only do so by court order."

As news broke that Manzioni had a declaration criticizing health insurance companies that put profits ahead of the public interest at the time of his arrest, a fandom trend that deliberately evaluates Manzioni is spreading on social media.

On SNS, the product serial number of the Peak Design Bag should be removed.CNN reported that suggestions to return the bag were also posted.
