Although paper calendars have become less popular as the use of smartphone application calendars has become commonplace, bank calendars are still popular. In a situation where economic difficulties continue due to
high prices and high interest rates, the myth that "money comes in if you hang the bank calendar at home" played a major role.
As a result, all supplies are exhausted less than a week after the distribution of the bank's New Year's calendar, and bank calendars distributed for free are even being traded for more money on used trading sites.
In particular, the New Year's calendar produced by the Korea Mint is receiving valuable treatment.
According to the Korea Mint on the 16th, the corporation produces a New Year's calendar every year that combines its identity as a currency-making institution and money, a symbol of good luck.
This year, the concept of a calendar consists of images of real money and coins in a calendar design.
The calendar contains various currency images such as 50,000 won bills, coins, and commemorative coins, which are receiving responses that they feel like "money is in hand." The used trading platform
said, "I'm looking for a minting calendar that's known as a lucky calendar. I'll match the price as much as possible," and "I'll buy a minting calendar. I want to make a big hit this year."
The Mint said it has produced 16,000 calendars this year and distributed them to major related organizations for free, and is considering producing additional small amounts due to good response.
