The Supreme Court confirmed the original trial, which sentenced Seol, who was handed over to trial on charges of murder and other charges, to 30 years in prison.
The Supreme Court said that looking at various conditions, it cannot be said that the lower court's sentence of 30 years in prison is unfair.
Seol was put on trial in July last year on charges of waiting for her ex-girlfriend to go to work in Namdong-gu, Incheon, then wielding a weapon to kill her and injuring the victim's mother.
Seol was found to have committed the crime in defiance of it in more than a month, even though he was banned from access by the court for assault and stalking crimes.
