Police said they are investigating after receiving a petition saying they suffered damage of KRW 16 million and KRW 8 million, respectively, at two iron gate stores.
The man, who deceived himself as a local military officer, stole the money on the 9th and 10th by asking a specific company to deposit the payment, asking him to buy combat food instead because he would buy hardware store goods.
It has been confirmed that the man deceived the anxious victim that the second martial law order was issued when the combat food was not delivered.
The police plan to investigate the suspect by identifying the identity of the criminal, including whether the same criminal was responsible, after finding out the circumstances of the damage.
