Yuk Jun-seo's exhibition began on the 6th under the title "Cranium" and is on display at Geumho Albert, a complex cultural space located in Kumho-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, until the 20th.
Yuk Joon-seo, who made his face known through the military survival entertainment show "Steel Troops," has been steadily drawing since before. The first solo exhibition will be held with the eyes of many people who see themselves as entertainers and their willingness to break the prescribed image.
The 12-meter super-large installation work 'CRANIUM', which was released to the world through numerous repeated decomposition and combination processes for about a year, overwhelmingly shows the artist's philosophical message and enables visitors to have a surreal experience.
Yuk Jun-seo said, "I'm always grateful to everyone who cares. I will continue my own work activities honestly," he said.
Kim Eun-ae, director of the exhibition, explained about the exhibition, "It shows the contradiction between the artist and our lives by using the form of a cross symbolized by transcendence, discipline, domination, and asceticism, while expressing his concerns and questions in the process of work in a light and grand manner through an unnamed form reminiscent of a tanghwa."
Yuk Jun-seo's exhibition is more special with the lighting design of LoKsu, an interactive lighting designer from the United States, and the sound of Francis Young, music director, and composer SKIDASH.
