The provincial government explained that officials, including mayors and county heads of 31 cities and counties in the province, attended the meeting to discuss measures in each field, and sought countermeasures and cooperation measures for urgent public welfare issues.
Governor Kim said, "Although some uncertainties have been resolved by the approval of the president's impeachment, it is time for everyone to join forces to rebuild the collapsed economy and revive people's livelihoods."
Referring to the advance payment of disaster support funds for heavy snow damage and emergency living security expenses for small business owners, he said, "The province will expand its finances and come up with practical and bold measures to quickly recover from the damage and restore people's livelihoods."
