Oh Dong-woon, the head of the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit, told the National Assembly's Legislative and Judiciary Committee today that he had issued a summons notice and would then take due process in connection with the refusal to receive it.
He also stressed that he is closely watching the situation as there is a case of refusing to receive legal attendance summons.
The Joint Investigation Headquarters, organized by the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit and the police, mailed a request for attendance to President Yoon Suk Yeol yesterday (16th), but it was returned as a "refusal to take it" at the official residence and was not delivered to the president's office under the name of the recipient.
