[Weather] North Pole Cold Wave Southward...the coldest of the winter

The Arctic cold wave is approaching.

Temperatures are expected to drop sharply in the strong cold.

With a cold wave warning issued in northeastern Gyeonggi Province and Gangwon Province, the coldest weather will come this winter, with temperatures in Seoul falling to minus 6 degrees Celsius and Daegwallyeong falling to minus 13 degrees Celsius tomorrow morning.

Even in the middle of the day, the temperature in Seoul will be 3 to 6 degrees lower than today, with the temperature staying at 1 degree, and the cold wind will keep the temperature below zero throughout the day.

As the extreme cold comes, middle-aged people with low muscle mass can develop hypothermia, so caution is needed.

Hypothermia can be suspected if your limbs tremble severely, your skin turns pale, and your lips turn blue.

If you have these symptoms, it is recommended to call 119 immediately and warm up as much as possible until you go to the emergency room.

And if you are conscious, drinking warm drinks will be of great help.

It will snow on the coast and Jeju Island in the cold.

By tomorrow afternoon, the west coast of Chungnam and Honam will have a lot of snow of up to 5-10cm on the east coast from late afternoon to the day after tomorrow.

In the mountains of Jeju, 5 to 15cm of snow will accumulate by the day after tomorrow.

Tomorrow's wind will be strong on the coast, mountains, and Jeju Island.

There is a high risk that outdoor facilities will collapse due to strong winds in the heavy snow, so you should check them in advance.

The cold will slow down for a while from the afternoon of the day after tomorrow, but between Friday night and the weekend, it will rain or snow again in the western part of the country, and the day is expected to get very cold again.
