26-year-old Luigi Manzioni, who was arrested for killing Brian Thompson, the chief executive of U.S. health insurer United Healthcare, has been put on trial.

New York Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg says he has charged Manzioni with first-degree murder for terrorist purposes and possession of an illegal weapon.

Earlier on the morning of the 4th, Manzioni is accused of killing CEO Thompson with a handgun with a silencer on the sidewalk next to the Hilton Hotel in midtown Manhattan, New York.

Manzioni shocked American society when he was found to be an elite graduate of Baltimore's private high school and earned a bachelor's and master's degree in computer engineering from the Ivy League's prestigious University of Pennsylvania.

In addition, as it was confirmed that he had a declaration that "Parasites are cheap to be beaten" by criticizing health insurance companies that prioritized profits at the time of arrest, there is a widespread trend of admiring Manzioni as a "willful" on social media.
