[Gyeonggi] Open 'Integrated Care Center for Severe Developmental Disabilities' in Paju, No. 1

Gyeonggi-do Province opened the "Integrated Care Center for the People with Severe Developmental Disabilities" in Yadong-dong, Paju-si, which provides one-on-one care services for intellectual and autistic people aged 18 to 65 who are unable to use existing social services 24 hours a day.

The provincial government said it will provide weekly weekday care to the disabled and return to their homes on weekends, and plans to open 2nd and 3rd units in Suwon and other places in the first half of next year.

Each center will accommodate up to 10 people, and you can apply for admission to the nearest administrative welfare center or the Gyeonggi-do Developmental Disability Support Center (☎031-895-6164).

Seo Bong-ja, head of the Gyeonggi-do Provincial Office of the Independence of the Disabled, said, "With the opening of the center, we will further strengthen support for the social care system for the most severely disabled."
