According to a Ukrainian military announcement on the 17th local time, the Russian military has been intensively sending North Korean troops to the front line of fighting in Kursk province for three consecutive days until the previous day.
In response, Ukraine's Special Operations Forces released related videos on Telegram and others, saying they killed 50 North Korean soldiers and injured 47 people for three days.
The released video shows Ukrainian special operations forces attacking North Korean soldiers and armored vehicles with first-person drones.
Soldiers believed to be North Korean soldiers fled or hid through trees to avoid drones, but they were targeted and damaged one after another by drones.
Considering other Ukrainian military unit battles, the North Korean military casualties are already estimated to be more than 200.
Earlier, Reuters and other foreign media reported, citing unnamed U.S. military officials, that the North Korean military suffered hundreds of casualties while fighting Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region of western Russia.
Currently, the number of North Korean troops sent to Russia is estimated to be about 12,000.
