The prosecution, which is investigating the "suspected involvement in the nomination," conducted a reference investigation on incumbent lawmakers of the People's Power for two consecutive days.

The Changwon District Prosecutors' Office called Han Ki-ho as a reference yesterday (17th) and investigated Kang Dae-sik today (18th).

The prosecution's investigation team investigated the nomination of former lawmaker Kim Young-sun against two people who served as vice chairman and members of the People's Power Nomination Management Committee during the 2022 parliamentary by-elections.

This is the first time that an incumbent lawmaker has been summoned for questioning in connection with the case of Myung Tae-kyun.

The prosecution is said to be planning to continue investigating key figures such as lawmaker Yoon Sang-hyun, who was the chairman of the nomination management committee at the time.

In the meantime, the prosecution will call Myung to investigate tomorrow morning (19th).
