The government has decided to supply 7,700 homes for relocation support for the reconstruction of the first new city to idle sites such as the site of a health center near Seongnam Central Library in Gyeonggi Province.

In this regard, the Korea Land and Housing Corporation and LH's apartments will be used for relocation, remodeled, and publicly sold.

Land, Infrastructure and Transport Minister Park Sang-woo said in a meeting with reporters that the total amount of housing supply to accommodate reconstruction migrant households in each living area of the first new city has been confirmed.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport believes that the places that supply migrant housing are Bundang, Pyeongchon, and Sanbon, and Ilsan and the Middle East have a lot of housing supply around them, so they do not have to build separate migrant housing.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport predicts that if new houses begin to be built on idle land next year, the reconstruction of the leading district will proceed and migrants will be able to enter by the time the migration begins.

Regarding concerns that the first new city reconstruction was Yoon Suk Yeol's presidential election pledge, Minister Park stressed that the reconstruction of the leading district will be carried out as scheduled.
