On the 16th, the Constitutional Court sent a letter of resolution on the impeachment motion to President Yoon Suk Yeol.
The service of the impeachment resolution by the Constitutional Court is the beginning of the impeachment process, and President Yoon, who receives it, must submit a response within a week.
However, as President Yoon has not been served with a resolution for several days, the deadline for submitting a response is being postponed.

The Constitutional Court attempted to serve President Yoon in three procedures: an electronic system, human services, and mail.
In the case of mail, the president's office and the official residence were sent to two places:
In the office of the President
due to 'the absence of the recipient', and in the official residence, 'the refusal of receipt' of the security service did not occur.
Article 51 of the Constitutional Court Act allows the court to stop the proceedings if the criminal proceedings of the impeached party are ongoing.
Earlier, President Yoon said that adjustments are needed as the investigation and impeachment proceedings cannot be carried out at the same time,
Critics point out that the impeachment trial may be deliberately delayed due to the
investigation.
If the document is not delivered, there is a concern that the preparation date scheduled for the 27th will not proceed properly.
As such, the Constitutional Court is also considering how to respond if President Yoon continues to refuse to serve.
