Yesterday (18th) at around 8:05 am, a tourist bus caught fire while driving on the road near the Pyeongchang Interchange on the Yeongdong Expressway in Yongpyeong-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do.
The fire forced the evacuation of 18 students and 21 passengers, including teachers, from Bukpyeong High School in the East Sea on an experience study trip, and burned all bodies,
Police and fire authorities towed the bus with a single highway under control shortly after the accident.
In addition, we are investigating the cause of the fire, believing that it caught fire from the right rear wheel of the vehicle.
