North Korea and Russia protest "distorting the nature of normal cooperation" in statement condemning dispatch of troops to Russia.

Recently, when South Korea, the United States, and the European Union issued a statement condemning military cooperation between North Korea and Russia, North Korea protested that it was a joint statement that distorted and slander the nature of normal cooperation.

North Korea's Foreign Ministry spokesman said in a statement that it is a grave threat that shakes the foundation of international peace and security beyond political provocations that violently violate sovereign states' sovereignty.

A Foreign Ministry spokesman stressed that cooperation between North Korea and Russia is a legitimate act to combat threats from the United States and other countries, but did not elaborate on the statement, including the North Korean military's dispatch to Russia.

He also criticized the Biden administration, saying that the U.S. will only fail to deal with North Korea as long as it turns a blind eye to the changed reality and clings to an anachronistic script.
