The Korea Business Association said it sent an official letter to its member companies, asking them to proceed with year-end and New Year's events and meetings as scheduled and to encourage employees to use the remaining annual leave.
It also recommended pre-purchase of supplies and consumables, early reservation of events, and advance payment of down payment.
Lee Sang-ho, head of the Korea Economic Industry Division of the Korea Economic Association, stressed that it is time for active cooperation from companies, saying that the difficulties of small business owners are increasing due to political uncertainties at home and abroad and the cancellation of scheduled events.
