The National Assembly Steering Committee tried to hold a question on pending issues regarding the December 3 emergency martial law incident, but it was canceled when the ruling party and officials from the presidential office, who were adopted as witnesses, were absent.

The steering committee held a general meeting, but Presidential Chief of Staff Chung Jin-suk and others were absent and only opposition members attended.

Instead, the opposition party alone decided to hold pending questions for the presidential office and the national security office on the 30th.

About 20 officials from the presidential office, including Presidential Chief of Staff Chung Jin-seok and National Security Office Director Shin Won-sik, were adopted as witnesses.
