Integrity of public institutions, the lowest ranking of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Chungbuk, and Korea Sports Council

As a result of evaluating the overall integrity of public institutions this year, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Chungcheongbuk-do, and the Korean Sports Council were at the bottom.

The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission said that the overall integrity score of 460 institutions, including central administrative agencies and local governments, averaged 80.3 points, down 0.2 points from the previous year.

According to the overall integrity rating, the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries received the first grade among 25 ministerial-level institutions.

However, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy received the lowest grade of 5, and among public service-related organizations, the Korea Sports Council, where Chairman Lee Ki-heung is investigated by the police, received the fifth grade.

In the case of metropolitan governments, Gyeongsangnam-do and Seoul Metropolitan Government received the first grade, and Chungcheongbuk-do received the fifth grade.
