Kim Hyun-tae, the head of the 707 Special Task Force under the Army Special Warfare Command, which was deployed to the National Assembly during the emergency martial law incident, said he took 1,920 rounds of live ammunition when he was dispatched.

General manager Kim met with reporters early today (19th) after investigating the prosecution's special investigation headquarters as a reference.

Kim said he received training instructions from his superiors around lunch on the 3rd, the day of the declaration of the emergency martial law, and that the purpose of the training was to conduct emergency inspection training as usual.

He explained that during the training, an emergency martial law situation occurred and that he was ordered to go to the National Assembly, so he was dispatched in his training clothes.

In addition, he claimed that he was dispatched with 1,920 live bullets in the process, and that he did not pack Taser bullets separately.

The 100 cartridges of 6,000 rounds and taser guns, which were previously revealed to have been taken out on the same day through the National Assembly, are a number including all used for training, and fewer bullets were taken to actual dispatch.

General manager Kim did not know in advance about the declaration of emergency martial law by President Yoon Suk Yeol, and claimed again that he first recognized it through broadcasting.
