Biological father who beat 57-day-old baby to death denies first trial charges

A biological father in his 20s, who was put on trial for beating his 57-day-old son to death from a skull fracture, has denied all charges in his first trial.

29-year-old A, who is suspected of killing child abuse, denied the charges altogether, saying he had never assaulted his son in the first trial held at the Incheon District Court today (19th).

In addition, A's wife, who was handed over to trial on charges of neglecting her husband's abuse even though she knew of it, also claimed that she did not recognize or neglect it because there was no abuse at all.

Mr. A was put on trial in July last year on charges of abusing his 57-day-old son to death at his home in Mansu-dong, Incheon.

At that time, A reported directly to 119 saying that the child was not breathing after the crime, but the prosecution investigation found that the child was killed by A in the head.
