Police have launched an internal investigation into Winner Song Min-ho's alleged poor work of social service personnel.

According to the police on the 19th, the Mapo Police Station in Seoul received a complaint from the National Newspaper asking to investigate Song Min-ho's alleged manipulation of regular work the day before and launched an internal investigation.

Earlier on the 17th, Dispatch reported that Song Min-ho, who is serving as an alternative as a social service worker, has not been going to work properly since moving to a Mapo resident convenience facility.

Dispatch said Song Min-ho occasionally appeared after moving from the Mapo Facilities Management Corporation in Seoul to Mapo Residents' Convenience Facility in March, signed for work, and smoked and disappeared. He said he had visited the facility more than 10 times between November and early December, but had never been able to see Song Min-ho.

He also said that Song Min-ho did not go to work properly even after returning home after traveling to Hawaii on October 30 for five nights and six days.

In this regard, YG Entertainment, the agency, explained, "Sick leave and vacation were used in accordance with the regulations, and the reason was the extension of the treatment received before service." An official at Mapo Residents' Convenience Facility also said, "Song Min-ho made his work in accordance with the regulations."

As the controversy grew, the Military Manpower Administration launched an investigation, including confirming the facts.
