Along with the operation of the disaster response situation room, the Rural Development Administration will deploy a "Central Field Technical Support Team" consisting of 120 experts in each field, including agricultural facilities, fruit trees, facility crops, and livestock, to provide pre- and post-technical support.
If the weather is expected to deteriorate, we will immediately switch to the emergency work system and respond to it, and provide emergency recovery support in case of damage.
It also sends weather information and disaster prediction information of individual farms by text to farmers who subscribe to the "Agricultural Weather Disaster Early Warning Service," and provides crop management tips through the agricultural technology portal "Agricultural Road (www.nongsaro.go.kr )."
The Rural Development Administration added that it has also provided snow weight forecasts received from the Korea Meteorological Administration to farms in Jeolla, Chungcheong, Gyeongbuk, and Yeongdong, Gangwon Province, to strengthen preparations in advance.
