At around 12:10 p.m. today (19th), a worker in his 80s died when construction materials fell below 4 meters at a new construction site in Ojeong-gu, Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do.

Mr. A was taken to the hospital with a severe head injury and cardiac arrest, but eventually died.

The fallen construction material is a 1.2m wide and 0.3m long formwork, weighing 10kg, according to the survey.

The police say that the deceased A appears to have been wearing a safety helmet, and plan to investigate witnesses and construction officials about the accident.
