The meeting, which will be attended by Kim Hee-sang, Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic and Diplomatic Affairs, and Takeshi Akahori, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, will discuss global economic trends and bilateral cooperation, as well as ways to expand cooperation related to the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan.
An official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the meeting will examine the current state of comprehensive economic cooperation between Korea and Japan, and that the two countries look forward to developing a future-oriented cooperative relationship.
