The NEC said advisors visited the control room and computer center occupied by martial law forces to check for any signs of damage to the server or intrusion, and found that there was no abnormality.
He also stressed that some organizations' requests to disclose the NEC's servers are subject to non-disclosure under the current law, but they will actively cooperate if there is a legitimate request from the court or the Constitutional Court.
However, the advisory committee added that if the source code is known to the outside world due to the disclosure of the server, it will require a full rebuild and take a large budget and more than a year to stabilize again.
The advisory committee consisted of seven external security experts, including Kim Ki-hyung, a cybersecurity professor at Ajou University, Kim Myung-joo, a professor of information protection at Seoul Women's University, and Kim Seung-joo, a professor at Korea University's Graduate School of Information Protection.
