"Different opinions on 'release of hostage' in last-minute negotiations for Gaza ceasefire"

Israeli local media reported on the 19th local time that there was a disagreement over the release of hostages during the last-minute negotiations between Israel and Palestinian militant Hamas.

Israel has reportedly called on Hamas to produce a full list of the remaining hostages in Gaza, including survivors and the dead.

However, local media said Hamas would not be able to complete the list verification until at least a week after the ceasefire.

Israel has insisted that its soldiers be released first, but Hamas is reluctant, he said, citing local sources.

Local sources said negotiations were in last-minute pain, but most of the problems had already been resolved and both sides could reach an agreement as soon as possible.

Hamas kidnapped and detained 251 soldiers and civilians after a surprise attack on southern Israel on October 7 last year, killing about 1,200 people.

Of these, about 100 remain in Gaza, with the exception of those released or found dead, and more than a third of them are estimated to have already died, foreign media said.
