The prosecution investigating the 'suspected intervention in the nomination' is analyzing more than 150,000 files recovered from the mobile phone used by Myung Tae-kyun.

Meanwhile, Myung's side has repeatedly claimed that Daegu Mayor Hong Joon Pyo asked Kim Jong-in, then chairman of the People's Power Emergency Response Committee, to be reinstated through Myung.

There are about 155,000 recorded phone calls and messages that the prosecution first secured from the mobile phone used by Myung Tae-kyun.

The prosecution secured a recording of Myung's phone call with First Lady Kim Gun-hee among these files.It also includes the phone conversation between Myung and Kim Jong-in, former chairman of the People's Power Emergency Response Committee, and a message file exchanged with Daegu Mayor Kim ∀ and a close aide to Mayor Hong ∀.It was confirmed by

's lawyers while participating in the prosecution's screening of evidence.

At the same time, the prosecution is looking into the data it has secured, and at the same time, it is continuing to restore the rest of the data left on the mobile phone.

Mr. Myung, who observed the screening process, claimed that based on these materials, it was clear that Mayor Hong knew Mr. Myung.

At the same time, he reiterated the claim that Mayor Hong asked former Emergency Management Committee Chairman Kim to be reinstated through Myung in April 2021.
